Based on the partnership between Emerging Markets Journal (EMAJ) and International Human and Social Sciences Convention (UBSBK-2018) as of 12 June, 2018, selected papers of UBSBK-2018 will have a chance to be published in EMAJ.

International Human and Social Sciences Convention (UBSBK-2018) will be held between 4-7 October 2018 at Silence İstanbul Hotel & Convention Center by the support of Istanbul Medeniyet University. This convention will bring significant researchers, academicians and professionals in the related fields. At this convention, the participants will have the opportunity to present their researches and to discuss the current topics of human and social sciences through an information exchange.

The convention will be held in Turkish and English. Authors wishing their notices not published as proceedings will be able to have their articles published in the Convention Journals screened by national and international indexes following the assessment made by arbitrators in the post-Convention period.

The due date for abstract submission is 15 August 2018.

Based on the partnership between Emerging Markets Journal (EMAJ) and 14th International Strategic Management Conference (ISMC) as of 28 May, 2018, selected papers of 14th ISMC will have a chance to be published in EMAJ.

The 14th International Strategic Management Conference is one of the most prestigious conferences of 2018. It is organized this year with the collaboration of the University of Economics Prague (Prague School of Economics), Czechia, the University of Bari, Italy, and CEDIMES, a worldwide network of Francophone academicians.

Emerging Markets Journal (EMAJ) invites both academic and industrial research scholars from different parts of the world to submit their original manuscripts in the field of international business management. EMAJ welcomes manuscripts across all areas of international business disciplines such as – strategic management, accounting and finance, operations management, economics, management information systems, marketing, human resources management, business ethics and business law.

EMAJ Emerging Markets Journal aims to:

Publish empirical research that extends or builds management theory and contributes to management practice with a special focus on emerging markets.
All empirical methods -- including, but not limited to, qualitative, quantitative, field, and combination methods -- are welcome.
To be published in EMAJ, a manuscript must make strong empirical and theoretical contributions and highlight the significance of those contributions to the business management field.
Preference is given to submissions that test, extend, or build strong theoretical frameworks while empirically examining issues with high importance for business management theory and practice.

EMAJ is a free, online and print, open access, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary international Business Management Journal published by the University Library System, University of Pittsburgh and is cosponsored by the University of Pittsburgh Press.

EMAJ Emerging Markets Journal is a peer-reviewed semiannually published international Business Management Journal. It is published by the University Library System, University of Pittsburgh and is cosponsored by the University of Pittsburgh Press.

The aim of EMAJ Emerging Markets Journal is to publish high-quality articles about the latest developments in the field of Business Management. The journal focuses specifically on emerging and developing markets and with particular importance to management challenges arising in relation to the ongoing changes in those markets. Examples of such ongoing changes include those related to lifestyle, consumption patterns, economic growth, institutions, welfare, corporate governance, income distribution, corporate responsibility, green business, and public and private management systems. The journal welcomes contributions with both local and global perspective on management processes and challenges arising in this new environment. Studies with a single-country as well as multi-country focus are welcome, and the journal is also open to a multitude of methodologies and research designs.

Manuscripts submitted must be in written in English. EMAJ Emerging Markets Journal receives all manuscript submissions through the EMAJ Web site. To submit an article, authors must register on the journal Web site: http://emaj.pitt.edu. Authors will then follow a quick five-step process to upload their article to the site. Upon receipt, authors will receive an e-mail verification. After an initial screening for topicality, all submissions will be reviewed through a blind peer-review process. Authors may refer to the EMAJ Emerging Markets Journal Web site for information regarding the writing format and style. Any manuscript that does not meet the editorial guidelines will not be processed. Submitted manuscripts are evaluated by two peer reviewers. The editor will inform authors of the results of the peer review as quickly as possible, in approximately 2 months.
